Kaelyn Becht is a new recruit for the newspaper Twice-Told Tale and a member of Lake Highland Preparatory School’s Class of 2029. Kaelyn has a passion for writing and desired to expand on that passion by joining the newspaper staff to enhance her writing skills. Kaelyn received Third Place in the ​​2025 Florida History Day State Competition and First Place in the district level competition of National History Day for an individual performance written and performed by herself in eighth grade. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing tennis, and going to the beach. The subjects she gravitates towards are mathematics, English, and science, and she hopes to go into the medical field when she graduates high school.
