(Above) Ten months out of every year, the United States recognizes minority groups, their accomplishments, their culture, and their extensive value in society. The origin of these months can be traced back to 1968. During his presidency, Lyndon Johnson jumpstarted the idea of set periods of time during the year to put minorities in the spotlight with his creation of Hispanic Heritage Week. This week of recognition was ultimately expanded into a month twenty years later by President Ronald Reagan, catalyzing the future establishment of the remaining heritage months that are now a foundational part of American society.

(Above) After Eid prayers are finished, everyone goes outside and wishes, "Eid Mubarak" or, "Happy Eid" to each other. This is where Muslims are able to meet with their friends and celebrate Eid together. At my local mosque, after Eid prayers occur, there are usually tons of food and treats outside. There is also toys and games children can buy, and that is when I go home and we give each other Eidi, or money, as a gift. According to bbcgoodfood.com, "Eid is all about feasting since it comes after a month of fasting (Muslims are not permitted to fast on this day). Whilst there is no set menu for what should be on the table, dishes prepared are always rich and decadent."

The Hawaiian prints are reminiscent of vintage surf art and Hawaiian travel bringing a nostalgic aesthetic to their outfits. Hawaiian patterns are inspired by plumeria, palm trees, and ocean life.

However, Lael was always open to taking the ball up the field to attack when she saw an open opportunity. (Above) There are multiple ticket options when it comes to Universal. Universalorlando.com states that the tickets cost $139 for adults and $135 for only a one-day and one park access. There are also two- to five-day passes that allow a guest to visit all three parks: Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe, within those days. Prices for those range from $330 to $550. The three parks operate from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.

This event allows Central Florida students to come and learn about a variety of different colleges coming from all over the country and even beyond. From local schools like Rollins College and the University of Central Florida, to farther schools like Ohio University, Vanderbilt University, and Southern Methodist University, students have the opportunity to ask questions to the admissions representatives to get a better feel for the school, from basic questions like, “What makes your school special?” to more specific questions like, “What is campus life like?”.

Meanwhile, online communities formed a tight crew that shared secret tips on where to find exclusive drops, creating an under-ground market filled with energy and tension. The madness doesn’t stop there. Rumors get passed around about fake Labubus flooding the market. These were nicknamed by fans “Lafufus.” This caused panic among fans, doing everything in their power to not spend all their savings on these offbrand versions.

(Above) Melt’ N’ Dip’s chai tea is a warm embrace in a cup. It is spiced to perfection, decadently creamy, and richly aromatic. (Above) Down in Kissimmee at Old Town they host car shows weekly. They have free parking convenient for its attendants and a lot of shops that people can look to explore. Old Town offers multiple different tourist attractions such as Funspot America, t-shirt shops with Republican slogans, haunted houses, burger joints, and a variety of other food places. For a town being a recreation of an old Floridian town they have had quite the deal for parents and young ones to have fun. After nearly 35 years, Old Town has hosted many other car shows at the park while also hosting other events. Events such as Friday Night Muscle Car Show & Cruise, Saturday Night Classic Car Show & Cruise and other events like karaoke, Halloween, New Years Eve, and the 4th of July.

Today, it is common for most places to be more of a drive through kind of restaurant due to the lack of atmospheric aesthetic and cost that dressier interiors require.

(Above) Another activity at the Orlando Science Center event was the arts and crafts station. Volunteers provided worksheets and coloring utensils to the kids, and this was the most popular station during the event. Additionally, there was another station where kids could make an x-ray of their hand. The volunteer would trace their hand out on a black piece of paper and then use Q tips to create the bone structure.
