(Above) As I was apprehensive to start training in hip-hop, my studio and team (shown above), helped me build up the courage to learn skills, as well as perform on stage. The support that my studio shows while being onstage is huge, with loud cheering and yelling. Also, other studios chime in with this same encouragement, making dancing on stage and competing less nerve wracking. (Above) Partnering with the Humane Society, The Pet Alli- ance of Greater Orlando helped rescue some of the 4,000 beagles taken from a large breeding facility, focused on providing beagles for animal testing, in Virgina in Septem- ber. (Above) The invisible illness manifests itself when it gets to the point of a patient crashing down, not being able to function in his or her normal state. A case representative of this idea was when I was admitted into the hosptial. For months since the start of school, I had been working over the present symptoms in my life. However, sometimes it gets to a point where medical intervention is needed. I was constantly hooked up to a new IV bag, my vitals were taken every four hours, and multiple specialists visited me to try to narrow down what was wrong, or if it were just a flare up of symptoms. Cleo Richard- son, grade 10, Aniston Goldstein, grade 12, and Alexandra Caballero, Class of 2022, all share the same passion for archery. Alexandra shared how she found her niche through joining the archery team: “I joined the team during my Sophmore year, and everyone was very supportive. It was fun to watch how I improved throughout my time on the team.” Alexandra now serves as an active mentor to the underclass- men on the team, and continues to push them to do their best while still learning about new ways to improve their strate- gies on a daily basis. In fact, Cleo and Aniston have learned a great deal from Alexandra’s experience, which have helped them in fixing their mistakes and forming new bonds in the process. Photo by Arya Sant. On Target to Win

(Above) Miya Okuda, grade 12, shares how she’s recently been doing two-shades on her nails. Her go-to nails are a shade of pink or blue, and anything with sparkles. This set reminded her of cherry blossoms, and she described them as, “Bright, sparkly, and fun,” adding how they reflect her personality. She would love to try storyboard nails and believes nails are really important because they, “Are one of the first things people will notice about you, especially when shaking your hand or when you’re moving.” When someone has nails as strong as these, they certainly are a great point of conversation indeed. Cottageccore is an aesthetic that incorporates a romanticized version of rural life, although more recently with a Victorian twist. This is mainly due to the popularity of shows such as Bridgerton and adaptions of Jane Austen novels. The outfits have an element of a corset, puff sleeves, and floral prints. Think about taking a garden stroll while bread is baking in the oven. Shoes can be soft leather boots and short to the ankle. Wear a straw hat for the sun and adorn with delicate jewerly. Comfort and simplicity are prioritized, whether through soft cottons or handmade accessories. As long as everything is minimalistic and intentional, it is Cottagecore. Photo by Serena Young.

(Above) When the Alabama Hotel closed, after being owned by several generations of the LaChance and Schenck family, the space was renovated from 1980-1981. During this time, the hotel transformed from guest rooms that hosted luminaries, to a 19-unit condominium. Today, the Alabama is still a condominium, and a two bedroom, two bathroom, 1,245 square foot condo runs for around $800,000. Relating to Instagram trends, butterfly and angel wings fill up a substantial amount of an individual’s feed. (Above) On top of the prized breakfast at The Old Spanish Sugar Mill Grill and Griddle House, there are many other activities offered at De Leon Springs State Park including boat tours, swimming in the spring, scuba diving, and hiking through the trails. Before the restaurant or state park was established, sugar cane was crushed using the iconic mill. Later on, Peter and Majorie Shwarze saw the value of this mill, and decided to open up this successful and admired location.

(Above) Brad Pitt is an interesting actor mainly because of the things he performs and makes. He is a truly talented actor that always brings a smile to many people’s faces, and he’s always doing so much for the community. He’s also the founder of a renowned charity named Make it Right Foundation that has aided more than five million dollars worth in damage costs with aiding the 9th ward district in New Orleans. He started the cause in 2007 accord- ing to InsidePhilanthropy.com. According to that same site, he built over 150 enviromentally friendly houses to rebuild families and give them places to call home. talking to news outlets, Look To The Stars, he has said, “We’ve got to push to get these levees taken care of in the correct fashion.” He is such an interesting actor, and he needs to do more films and overall needs to keep doing what he has done best: acting. (Left) Situated just outside Atlanta, the Coca Cola Roxy, holding just 3,600 people became a place filled with teenage girls screaming about exes and heartbreak. The five minute walk to the theatre from my hotel went past the Atlanta Braves’ Stadium, and the game-day chants greatly contrasted the giggles from concert goers. When you walk into Buc-ee’s, the brisket hits you first. The smell, at times nauseating, lingers with you even after leaving. As for the taste, the overall consensus of my family was that it left something to be desired. The meat was dry, overly seasoned, and not worth the hype. Buc-ee’s also sells, “Beaver chips” which are kettle cooked potato chips. They have a similar thick texture to Chipotle’s tortilla chips except smokier, and made up for the brisket.

(Above) The work of Dr. Colin Campbell (right) parallels the studies of Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn (left). Esselstyn focused on the effects of meat consumption on heart disease and diabetes. His clinical trials at the Cleveland Clinic, where he prescribed a whole-foods plant-based diet to patients diagnosed as seriously ill with car- diovascular disease, had a success rate of 99.4% for those patients not having a major cardiac event. There are also several headquarters, for behind the scenes departments like Campus Safety and Transportation, as well as the Business Office and Human Re- sources all of which are off campus. (Above) Each group of seniors was assigned a 90-second clip of a song they had to perform. Some of the songs included were, “Call Me Maybe,” by Carly Rae Jespen, “I Want it That Way,” by The Backstreet Boys, “Shut Up and Dance,” by WALK THE MOON, and “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift. The winning group was the black swim caps which swam to “I Want it That Way.” Many of the groups personalized their dances based on the interests and skills of the group members. The white caps had many cross-country runners, so they incorporated the cross-country team flag into their routine. (Above) The Seafood Siu Mai was significantly larger than anything we had ever seen before. The insides were filled with twice as much meat as those in most restaurants and grocery stores. The abalone on top was an appreciated rarity in most dim sum restaurants.
