Renee Pugh, grade 9, is a staff writer for Lake Highland Preparatory School’s Upper School newspaper, Twice-Told Tale. This is her first year writing for the newspaper, and she joined to deepen her learning about journalism and creative writing styles. Pugh has been writing as a hobby since she was about nine years old. When not writing, she spends her free time watching movies and shows, listening to music, spending quality time with family and friends, and most of all, playing volleyball. Pugh also hopes to travel the world as she grows older to help expand her knowledge of different cultures and lifestyles, with her current favorite country being Italy.
