Spring Break is around the corner, and vacations are the first thing on people’s minds. Whether it’s a drive to the beach, a trip across the country, or a flight to the other side of the world, people have already planned which corner of the world they want to see next. On the other hand, some people have no clue what to do or where to go for Spring Break. Since Spring Break is the last week of March this year, there are so many options for where to go. It could be to the beach down by the Bahamas, in the mountains in Switzerland, or even a trip to California. However, decisions like this can be hard for people to make as they contemplate enjoying the cool, winter temperatures for a bit longer, or starting their summer experience early.

Nothing feels better than going to the beach on a warm day with a refreshing breeze. A local option for people who enjoy that feeling is staying at The Breakers in Palm Beach. The Breakers is a luxury beach resort with a lot in store for people who love the high-end beach experience. The resort includes a spa, a shopping area (including a store that sells resort merchandise and souvenirs), and a fitness center, along with a tennis club, golf course, and basketball court. Additionally, there are four restaurants which include a breakfast buffet, beach activities, and so much more. The beach activities consist of surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, boogie boards, and tubing. The Breakers even has a video game arcade to appeal to the kids who stay at the resort. On holidays, The Breakers prepares a lot of events and activities to get the holiday spirit going all around the resort. They offer movies by the pool, fireworks, games, and dinners that are special to the event.

For people who are still living in their winter wonderland, skiing in Colorado is a fun and exciting travel option while still remaining in the U.S. Skiing doesn’t have to be only for active people, it is also a great option to enjoy the snowy mountains while having fun with family and friends. One of the best resorts in Colorado is Viceroy, located in Aspen Snowmass. Viceroy is a great option for people who want to go skiing because they have a ski and snowboard rental area that also sells the proper ski equipment for staying warm and safe. The resort also has direct access to the main ski slope in the area making it easier for people to get there without having to take a shuttle. Additionally, Viceroy also offers ski school recommendations for both adults and kids who are just learning how to ski or snowboard, in addition to classes for advanced winter athletes who want to improve their skills and take them to the next level.

Viceroy is a pet and family-friendly resort that offers a kids’ club with activities such as snowman making, baking classes, town clean-ups, and wildlife expeditions. The hotel also has three dining/eating areas, a poolside bar, a dining lounge, and a restaurant located in the lobby that also offers a breakfast buffet. Additionally, a gym and spa are also available for people who want to relax or exercise. The slopes in Aspen are very navigable, and the difficulty ranges from greens to double black diamonds. On the slopes, rest stops that offer a small break for skiers and snowboarders to grab a drink or have some food to eat are also found. Additionally, the cafeterias also have a wide range of food choices that accommodate any food preference.

Last but not least, an international travel option that is somewhere in between the winter and summer feel is Madrid, Spain. Spring in Madrid is not too warm or too cold. It sits right in between the two making it the perfect spring weather. Palacio de los Duques Gran Meliá is a hotel located in Madrid and is one of the best hotels in the city. Meliá has three restaurants plus a breakfast buffet, along with a gym and their Thai Room Wellness, which is a spa. Meliá also has a concierge to answer any questions about the city or to advise any popular museums, restaurants, tourist attractions, and great places to go shopping.

In the city itself, the most visited museums in Madrid are ones that include famous historical artworks. Madrid is also widely known for their Spanish cuisine. The city has a wide variety of amazing restaurants from casual to fine dining, all of which serve traditional food. Shopping in Madrid is also highly recommended because of the many stores unique to Europe, making the experience very special. These local, national, and international trips all share one thing in common which is an unforgettable experience. While all of these places are great options for spending a week away from home, it all depends on how you as a traveler want to spend your Spring Break. No matter how far you go, traveling is an amazing way to make the best out of Spring Break while making many memories.
