ASB GlassFloor is a state-of-the-art facility in Orlando, Florida, that NBA teams across the country visit every time before they play the Orlando Magic. These professional players get to experience practice in a newly imagined way, plays written on the floor, and with live tracking, the learning capabilities are varied. Additionally, the ASB GlassFloor technology is highly adaptable for media outlets and brands. Now, NBA teams aren’t the only ones that get to experience ASB GlassFloor; the Orlando facility is also open to college and high school teams. During the Lake Highland Varisty Boys Basketball 2025-2026 season, the team was only the second ever high school team to ever practice at ASB GlassFloor.
In November of 2025, ASB GlassFloor announced a new “Athleats Lab” on their website that’s, “Designed to redefine elite athletic preparation, the new Lab merges world-class performance environments with next-generation sports technology and analytics.” The new lab that the company has deemed the “Athleats Lab 2.0” in Orlando has both the new ASB GlassFloor technology court and a traditional wood court for athletes to transition between. This technology is, “Already trusted by EuroLeague Basketball, NBA All-Star 2024, and the FIBA U19 Women’s World Cup 2023.” This new wave of basketball technology is opening a whole new world of opportunities. The branding possibilities are a big bonus to the industry and opens the way for brands to find new and creative ways to partner with the NBA. ASB GlassFloor specifically highlighted this aspect on their website, adding, “Beyond training, Athletes Lab 2.0 offers brands and partners a unique venue for product launches, athlete showcases, and immersive fan experiences. Dynamic sponsorship content and interactive visuals can be projected directly onto the LumiFlex surface, creating unprecedented opportunities for storytelling and fan engagement.”
Lake Highland Preparatory School’s Head Varsity Basketball Coach Ben Fratrick was able to set up the cool experience for the team after he, “Was able to attend a practice with the team with the University of Richmond when they were in town for a tournament.” While he was at ASB GlassFloor, Coach Fratrick, “Was able to meet the folks who run the facility and start planning our visit.” This led to the team’s practice at the end of Christmas Break, during the beginning of the new year, to prepare for the final half of the season. Coach Frat added that the possibility of it becoming an annual experience is something he’d love to do, “And I think the people at the facility are receptive to it as well.” Not only for the exciting and entertaining aspects but also for the very useful educational purposes, Coach Frat explained that, “If you actually install an ASB GlassFloor in your gym, there’s lots of advantages,” he continued, “Marketing, revenue generation, the fan experience, plus drawing and diagraming plays on the floor during practice could be a powerful coaching tool.”
More recently, ASB GlassFloor announced on January 20, 2026, its partnership with Disguise, a company that, in simple terms, creates similar visual experiences to ASB GlassFloor with state-of-the-art servers. With this partnership, Disguise explained on its website that, “ASB GlassFloor now enables all venues to use the most state-of-the-art media servers in the industry to directly feed interactive content to the floor.” Disguise has already been able to do something similar for teams such as the NBA Portland Trail Blazers. Furthermore, Disguise explained that its, “Technology will form the backbone of ASB GlassFloor’s LumiFlex LED floor platform, ensuring frame-accurate UHD playback, low latency and stability so that impressive graphics can be displayed on a massive scale.” Moving forward these servers will be exclusively for ASB GlassFloor to help produce the ASB GlassFloor technology for event such as, “the NBA All Star Weekend, FIBA Basketball Champions League Final 4 and the EuroLeague, and the company’s own state-of-the-art facility in Orlando, the ASB Athletes Lab.”
